“Why can't you go camping with us?” I asked Dad. “I have to work. You could ask Uncle Al,” he said. Uncle Al? I couldn't take Uncle Al. He would do silly things.
Uncle Al came camping with us. It was the only way we could go. Uncle Al's job was to cook the sausages(香肠). He made them so black, so no one could eat them. Uncle Al said, “It doesn't matter. We'll see how far we can throw them.” I was really angry!
Every day something happened.
Holly Ho got afraid on the rock wall. She couldn't come down. Uncle Al climbed up to get her. But his foot got stuck(困住) in a hole. He looked so funny that he made Holly Ho laugh. Then she came down herself. Holly Ho asked me if he was my uncle. I said he wasn't my uncle. I just brought him so we could go camping.
I was glad when the camp was over. On the way home, the bus went... BANG!!!
“I can't fix it,” the bus driver said. “I will call someone to come and help. We will have to wait.” The kids were all hungry and tired! Some even started to cry! Uncle Al jumped up. “I'll fix this bus,” he said! “No!” I shouted. “Don't let him.” But Uncle Al was already looking in the motor(发动机). We could hear banging and tapping. I hid under the seat. Uncle Al would do something crazy! I knew it! Uncle Al got back on the bus. He had black oil all over his face, hands and clothes. “It's fixed,” he said. Everyone clapped(拍手). But I didn't. When you clap for Uncle Al, he usually puts on a show. And that's just what he did. He did a funny dance right there in the bus.
When we got back to school, Holly Ho said, “He is your uncle, isn't he?” “Yes,” I said. “I'm sorry I told you a lie. He is my uncle.” “You're lucky!” said Holly Ho.

答案

1.
③:The writer had to go camping with Uncle Al.(文中“Uncle Al came camping with us. It was the only way we could go.”
④:Uncle Al helped Holly Ho down the rock wall(过程有波折但算成功,文中“Uncle Al climbed up to get her. But his foot got stuck(困住) in a hole. He looked so funny that he made Holly Ho laugh. Then she came down herself.” ),这里原选项④“Uncle Al failed to help Holly Ho down the rock wall.”
②:The bus broke down and Uncle Al fixed it.(文中“On the way home, the bus went... BANG!!!...‘It's fixed,’ he said.”
①:Uncle Al did a funny dance in the bus.(文中“He did a funny dance right there in the bus.”
2.
B(从后文Al把香肠烤焦还说能扔多远,在公交车上修车后跳舞等事可推断出Al经常在旅行中做傻事)
3.
A(从最后作者承认Al是自己叔叔以及“You're lucky!”
4.
D(从Al看似做傻事却帮助了大家,给大家带来欢乐可得出做傻事的人可能会用善良让你惊讶)
