Baby monkey's clock
Father Monkey often says to Baby Monkey, "All your friends
go to bed at nine o'clock. When can you do that too, my
dear?" Baby Monkey does not listen to his father. He still
plays with his toys late at night. The next morning, Father
Monkey has to bite Baby Monkey's tail to wake him up.
One day, Baby Monkey says, "Buy a clock for me, Dad. I'll
go to bed at nine." Father Monkey thinks a clock is too big.
He buys a small watch and puts it on his son's tail. That
night, Baby Monkey goes to bed late again. He says, "The
watch is too small. I can't see the numbers on it." Then,
Father Monkey has to buy a new clock. But his son still says
the clock is small and does not
want to go to bed early.
Finally, Baby Monkey has a large
clock. It is nine o'clock. Baby
Monkey is still playing with his
toys. Suddenly, the clock throws
Baby Monkey onto the bed. From
