Kevin: I’m a student in Grade 6. I think students in Grades 1 to 3 should not do homework. I liked drawing a lot when I was in lower grades, but I had to give up because of much homework. Life is boring without hobbies, but I agree that students in Grades 4 to 6 should have some homework. Now I study hard and do homework every day. Then I will do better in my tests.
Mrs Black: I’m a mother with a 9-year-old son. I don’t think it’s necessary for primary school students to do homework. Sometimes the homework is too hard. My son can’t finish it on his own. Primary school students are still very young. Many students often sleep late because they have to finish their homework. It will make students lose interest in study. Miss Sun: I’m a Chinese teacher in a primary school. Doing homework can help students get good learning habits. However, too much homework can also take up too much of their free time.
