A Tiring but Happy Day
Read and answer: Was Mum happy on her birthday?
My mother's birthday was coming. What could I do for her? A birthday card? I sent one last year. Some flowers? Mum didn't like flowers. I wanted to do something special. I had a good idea—changing the roles. I would be Mum, and Mum would be me.

Everybody liked the idea. It was the day. In the morning, I was sleeping soundly as usual. I heard Mum's voice, "Where is the breakfast, my dearest mum?" "Oh, sorry." I got up quickly and cooked some noodles for my "daughter".

First the breakfast, then the lunch, and at last the dinner. The day went away quickly, and I was so busy with the cooking, cleaning, washing … And I didn't have any time to watch TV!
Oh, it was not so easy to be Mum, but I knew more about Mum. Anyway, it was a tiring but happy day.
