Jianghu is not a new word for most Chinese people. It stands for martial arts, history, romance and fantasy. We have read about it in many books for many years. And now it finds a new life in a Chinese animation series—A Portrait of Jianghu: Bu Liang Ren.
Starting with its first season in 2014, the series is popular with high scores on the Internet. Now its seventh season is being aired.
The series creates a world of history with fantasy. At the end of the Tang dynasty, China was in disorder. Li Xingyun, a prince, was left in jianghu. He later was in the mysterious group Bu Liang Ren. The group was loyal to Tang. Li faced clans in jianghu and later kingdoms.
The world in the series is big enough to show different sides of Chinese culture. From folk tales to politics, from the southern witchcraft to the northern cavalry forces in the latest season, the series shows everything.
As the leading role, Li has grown into the leader of Bu Liang Ren in the new season and more sides of jianghu will be shown for sure.

Walden is a quiet small town in England. Cars can't go into the centre of the town, so it is very pleasant to walk around.
Spend at least half a day visiting the museum. It's on a hill outside the town in an old building. The museum brings history to life. You can even ride on a horse and cart on the street. I was really interested in a living room of the museum in the 1950s. It was just like my grandmother's house. I lived there when I was a child.
If you can wait, there is a new exhibition opening soon. Walden is famous for one thing—candy! If you like candy, this exhibition is for you. You can learn about its history. I have never seen so many different kinds of candies. But I won't go now because it will start on 26 May.
