Winter is a wonderful season. When winter comes, everything seems to change. The air becomes dry and cold. The trees are like works of art, and the lakes are full of ice. The world is covered with white snow.

In winter, I love to eat some delicious food. Hot pot (火锅) is my favourite. We can put all kinds of vegetables, meat, and tofu in the hot pot. When it boils, the room is filled with delicious aromas (香味). Another food is roasted sweet potatoes. The sweet smell of roasting sweet potatoes on the street is very inviting. When you take a bite, it's warm and sweet.
In winter, we can have a lot of fun. We can build snowmen in the yard. Roll up a big snowball for the body and a smaller one for the head. We decorate (装饰) our snowmen with hats, scarves, and buttons. We can also have snowball fights with our friends. Throwing snowballs and dodging (闪躲) them is so exciting. It's fun to play in the snow.
Winter may be cold, but it brings so much joy and beauty. I love winter.
