It is snowing heavily. Although the weather is bad, Emily and her mum are in high spirits. They are building a snowman outside.
“He needs eyes and a nose,” Emily says. Mum gives Emily a carrot and she puts it in the snowman’s face. Then, she looks around and finds two little stones(石头) and some twigs(细枝). She uses the stones to make eyes for the snowman and uses the twigs to make his arms.
“Good job,” says Mum. “He looks real now!”
“But he still needs something.”
“A hat?”
“Hmm… No, not a hat,” Emily says.
They look at the snowman. The cold wind is blowing hard and Emily shivers(颤抖). “Come on. Let’s go home. It’s too cold!” Mum says.
