Scientists study how moths, a flying insect, become suitable to climate change. Some moths change better than others. Some moths need cool weather. They move north when the weather gets warmer. Other moths already live in cool areas. They may not be able to find a cooler place to go. For caterpillars, a small creature that develops into butterflies, warm weather affects the food that is available for them to eat. Some caterpillars get used to changing temperatures and food supplies. It is hard to predict how climate change will affect moths over time.
