—What a pity! They missed the exciting moment.
A.Both; and
B.Not only; but also
C.Either; or
D.Neither; nor
D
) 2.—______ Rose ______ Jack watched that new film yesterday.—What a pity! They missed the exciting moment.
A.Both; and
B.Not only; but also
C.Either; or
D.Neither; nor
答案
D
解析
根据答句“What a pity! They missed the exciting moment.” A选项“Both; and”表示两者都,谓语动词用复数,此处watched为过去式,若用A则表示两人都看了,与答句矛盾;B选项“Not only; but also”表示不仅……

A.to worry
B.to worry about
C.worrying about
D.to be worried
B
) 3.David seemed to have a lot ______.A.to worry
B.to worry about
C.worrying about
D.to be worried
答案
B
首先,分析句子结构,“David seemed to have a lot...”

A选项“too...to...” 要么……”,选择关系,不符合;D选项“not only...but also...”
(
A.And
B.But
C.So
D.Or
B
) 5.—You are wanted on the phone. —______ nobody knows I'm here.A.And
B.But
C.So
D.Or
答案
B

—It's certainly a difficult job, ______ it's necessary to make a careful plan before we start.
A.for
B.or
C.but
D.so
D
) 6.—The job is really too hard for us.—It's certainly a difficult job, ______ it's necessary to make a careful plan before we start.
A.for
B.or
C.but
D.so
答案
D

D.How a high praise
A
the famous teacher won from both her students and the students' parents!A.What high praise
B.What a high praise
C.How high praise
D.How a high praise
答案
A
As the sun poured down on the trees and waters of a running river under Mount Fanjingshan, Yves Perrin, 62, sat beside water wearing tai chi clothes, practising traditional Chinese qigong breathing exercises.
From April 7 to 19, a team of nearly 50 French kung fu fans visited Guizhou, and practised tai chi as well as qigong with their teacher Ke Wen, the founder of the Les Temps du Corps, an association that teaches energy techniques and Chinese culture in Paris.
Driven to improve his health conditions, Perrin has learned qigong for 15 years and tai chi for 10 years, and takes up the traditional Chinese practices from 10 minutes to one hour every day. To master more skills, Perrin learned from Chinese masters and visited China's Beidaihe in 2015, where there is a centre for qigong teaching, research and treatment. "Qigong and tai chi can help me take good care of my feelings and become more peaceful. It's an excellent technique," Perrin said.
Perrin also gives lessons and shares knowledge of qigong and tai chi with his friends. "I love Chinese culture, and I hope it can help more people," he said.
As the leader of the French team, Ke said, "This trip deepened the friendship between the French people and the people of Guizhou. We'll share the beautiful experience in China to France, Europe and the world."
