How’s everything going? I want to tell you about an unforgettable activity I joined last Saturday. My classmates and I went strawberry picking with our English teacher Mr. Li on a farm in the countryside.
We took the school bus at 8 a.m. and arrived there an hour later. The farmer showed us around first and taught us how to pick strawberries correctly. Then we started working in groups. My best friend Jack and I picked a lot of big, red strawberries. At noon, we had a picnic on the grass and shared our food. After that, we played games like hide-and-seek. In the end, we took a group photo with the farmer. Though we felt tired, we were really happy. It was great to experience picking fruits and enjoy nature with friends.
Summer vacation is coming! My family plans to go camping by the lake in mid-July. We’ll fish, have a barbecue, and watch stars at night. Would you like to join us if you have time? I’m sure we’ll have fun together.
