Dear Mike,
I’m glad to hear that you will study and live in China. Here are some table manners in China.
First of all, you are supposed to let the elders start eating first. What’s more, it’s rude to stick your chopsticks into a bowl of rice. And don’t point at others with your chopsticks, either. When you are full, you can say so politely. Last but not least, hosts often ask you to eat more, which shows their kindness.
