Last month, our school newspaper reporter interviewed a student and asked him some questions about his dream job.
Reporter: Could you introduce yourself to everybody?
Student: Yes. I'm Steve, a student in Grade 8.
Reporter: What's your hobby?
Student: I'm interested in reading, especially the books about medicine.
Reporter: So you want to be a doctor?
Student: Yes. I have had this dream since I was 8 years old.
Reporter: Why do you want to be a doctor?
Student: Because of the influence of my family. My parents are doctors and I feel so proud of them because their work is meaningful.
Reporter: Do you have any plans to achieve your dream?
Student: Of course, I have. As we all know, studying medicine is a long road. So, first, I will stick to my dream whatever difficulties I meet. In the face of them, I hope I can find ways to solve them actively rather than give up. Second, I'll be ready to bear trouble and work hard. The profession of a doctor is not as easy as we think. It requires a huge effort behind it. So I will work hard. Third, I'll exercise more. Being a doctor needs a lot of physical work. Without good physical condition, I can't serve the patients well. In short, when I am firm (坚定的) in my goal, I will try my best to complete the plan. Then I can get closer to my goal step by step.
