I think studying Maths
has four parts: reading the textbook, practising, solving problems and knowing how problems are made.
First, textbooks help us learn new ideas and formulas（公式）. When we understand these, we get smarter at Maths.
Next, when we practise, it's good to use a timer(计时器). It can help us practise finding hard problems faster. Then we can spend more time practising them.
When taking a test, quickly look at the questions. If we don't know how to solve one, leave it and go back to it later. Don't spend too much time on the hardest questions.
Hard questions are often made up of easier steps, so try breaking（分解） them down to solve them. Big exams like the gaokao test you on important ideas, so be sure to know these well.
