Best friends no more

Many of us like to hang out with our best friends, but at Abbey School in the UK, teachers don't want their students to make best friends. Instead, they want them to make friends with everyone. In this way, no one feels left out.
No red
Have you ever had your homework marked with a blue pen? At some schools in Australia, teachers don't use red pens to mark students' homework. Why? Because the colour red might make students feel nervous or upset. So, teachers use blue, purple, yellow pens, or even pencils to mark the homework.

Less ketchup

In France, there is an unusual rule in school canteens. The schools don't want students to eat too much ketchup. They want the students to enjoy the taste of French food. So, school canteens in France only serve fries with ketchup once a week.
