If you have the opportunity to keep a pet, how would you balance the responsibility of taking care of it with the study pressure of daily life? Please share your thoughts.
答案
First, I will make a daily schedule. I will set specific times for studying, such as 7-9 pm, and times for taking care of the pet, like feeding it in the morning and evening, and playing with it for 20 minutes after finishing homework. Second, I will focus on my study first. When I need to do homework or review lessons, I will keep the pet in a safe place to avoid distractions. After finishing my study tasks, I will spend quality time with it. Third, I will ask my family for help. If I have a lot of homework or exams, my parents can help feed or walk the pet temporarily. Finally, I believe the pet can help me relax. Playing with it for a short time can reduce my study pressure, making me more focused when I go back to study. In this way, I can balance the responsibility of taking care of the pet and my study pressure.

I love animals. Every single day, as I make my way to school, I pass by a pet shop. The shop window is always filled with adorable animals, and I often greet them with a cheerful “hello”. I have always dreamt about having a pet, and finally, this dream came true!
Last week, on my way back home, I found a small kitten by the side of the road. It was raining heavily, leaving her weak and wet. Moreover, she was crying because she was very hungry. Feeling sorry for her, I brought her back home.
My mum has never been fond of having pets in our house. However, when she saw the poor, helpless kitten, she allow me to keep her. I gently dried the kitten with a towel and offered her some fish. After that, she went to sleep on the sofa. When she woke up, she licked (舔) my hand! I decided to name her “Bonnie”, and now she’s a beloved member of our family.
