Last week, our school did a survey about "Who is your idol?". Here are our answers. In the past, we used to admire singers and movie stars. They had cool hairstyles and clothes, so they looked fashionable. Their performances made us relaxed and our life more colorful.
Now, our idols have changed. We respect scientists and medical workers more. Scientists invent high-tech products to protect national security and improve people's living standards. Doctors and nurses save people's lives, helping them get rid of pain and regain health.
In my opinion, those who help us in danger deserve more respect and admiration. As students, we should study hard and try to contribute to society like them in the future.
