The Stork(鹳) and the Fox
At one time the Stork and the Fox were “good friends”.
One day the Fox invited(邀请)the Stork to dinner, and put nothing before her but some soup in a very shallow(浅的)dish. The Fox could easily lick up(舔), but the Stork could only wet the end of her long bill(鸟嘴) in it.
“I am sorry,” said the Fox. “The soup is not to your liking.”
“Please do not apologise(道歉),” said the Stork. “I hope you will come and dine with me soon.” On that day the Fox came only to find that their dinner was contained(盛;装)in a very long–necked jar(罐子) with a narrow mouth, so all he could do was to lick the outside of the jar.
“I will not apologise for the dinner,” said the Stork.

答案
从给出的选项中,我们可以勾选出以下好朋友的行为:listen to me when I talk(当我说话时倾听我),stand by me(支持我),smile at me(对我微笑),help me, not hurt me(帮助我,不伤害我),use nice words(用友善的话语),look at me when we are talking(我们交谈时看着我)。而shout at me(对我大喊大叫)和kick me(踢我)则不是好朋友的行为。
