I'm Dave. I took the train to Datong to visit the Yungang Grottoes(云冈石窟) last year. I was surprised at everything I saw. I took many nice photos of the beautiful grottoes and statues(雕像). They are different from each other. It took me a long time to visit the main grottoes. The tour guide told us many historical stories about them. I also found a street with many restaurants and stores. I enjoyed some special food and bought some gifts. There was a museum along the way. I learned a lot about the history of the Northern Wei Dynasty(北魏) in it. All in all, the trip was exciting!
