Dear Diary,
I found this old diary and couldn't help laughing at my sad words from two
years ago. How time flies!
I still remember on that shattering day, I failed in the singing group. I was
completely lost for a while. That failure really hurt me. But my music teacher, Ms Lin,
talked to me. She said, "Don't let one failure stop you. If you love it, you must
persevere. " So I did. I found another singing group outside of school and practised every
week.
Now, I'm more confident. I even sang a short song by myself in our class
performance last month! I've learned that challenges are inevitable for everyone, but they
don't last forever. I'm no longer sad about that first try because it teaches me
to be brave. When one door closes, another really does open.
Tomorrow is another day, full of new songs to sing.
