I’m writing this letter to express my deepest gratitude for all your help and support. There were several times when I faced different challenges, and you were always there for me.
Do you still remember the day I threw my English notebook on the floor and shouted, “I’ll never learn it! ”? That was the third time I failed the English quiz, and I felt like a bird trapped in a cage—no way out. You didn’t leave me alone. Instead, you picked up the notebook and gently said, “Let’s fight it together.” Every lunch break, you took out your error notebook and showed me how to correct mistakes. When I stuttered（口吃） while reading passages, you read the sentences one by one so that I could repeat after you. Once, I got so frustrated that I wanted to give up. You drew a little sun on my exercise book and said, “Dark clouds will clear, right? ”
Slowly, I made great progress and started to look forward to taking English classes. Last week, I raised my hand to answer the teacher’s question and then got it right! The whole class clapped, and I saw you smiling brighter than the sun on my book.
I’m very grateful to have a friend like you. You turned my anxiety and helplessness into confidence. You not only taught me English but also taught me that growth is about trying even when it’s hard. I’ll always be grateful to you.
