Clocks and More Clocks
One day, Mr Higgins finds a clock in the attic(阁楼).
“How do I know if it’s correct(准确无误的)?” he thinks.
So he goes out and buys another clock which he places in the kitchen. “Ten minutes to four.”
He runs up to the attic. The attic clock says eight minutes to four.
And he goes to the clock maker. “I don’t know which one is right!” says Mr Higgins.
“There’s nothing wrong with these clocks.” says the clock maker. “When you climb the stairs, two minutes past.”
