As Peter Pan flies toward The Jolly Roger, he passes the crocodile(鳄鱼). Strangely, the clock in its belly(肚子) isn't ticking(发出滴答声)! Peter has an idea—he starts to tick himself so that others will think he is the crocodile and leave him alone. But the crocodile, thinking he has taken the clock, follows Peter.
On the ship,Captain Hook shouts,"The boys must die! And the sweet girl must watch them. Tie (绑) her to the mast(桅杆)!" Wendy gets tied up. But she still tries to comfort the fearful boys.
Suddenly, everyone hears the ticking sound. Hook's face turns white. "Hide(藏) me!" he cries, believing the crocodile is near. The pirates(海盗) stand around him and shut their eyes.
But it's not the crocodile—it's Peter Pan! He climbs onto the ship and quickly goes into a room. The boys are filled with wonder when they see Peter.
A few seconds later, they hear a terrible cry from the room. Hook sends his men to check,but no one comes back. Then he sends in the boys. Inside, Peter unties the boys and tells them secretly to prepare to fight(打斗). Next, he frees Wendy, puts on her cloak(斗篷) and stands by the mast. "Hook or me this time," he thinks.
"Throw the girl overboard!" Hook shouts. "No one can save you now."
