My Favourite Hobby
My favourite hobby is reading all kinds of great books.
I started to develop this hobby when I was 7 years old. On my 7th birthday, my mother gave me a fairy tale book as a gift. The warm and interesting stories in the book caught my eye at once, and I soon became crazy about reading later. Now I keep the habit of reading for at least 40 minutes every day after finishing my schoolwork.
I get a lot from this hobby. First, reading opens my sight and enriches my knowledge, and I can learn many things that I can't get from classes. Second, when I feel stressed from my study, reading can always help me calm down and relax myself. Books are just like my best friends, they make my whole life much more colourful.
