The Hungry Vegetables
Read the passage and answer this quesion: Who wants to go out?


The carrot wants to go out and play. But the rain cloud says, "No, not today!" The cabbage wants to go out and dance. But the rain cloud says, "No, not today!"

The green beans want to go out and jump. But the rain cloud says, "No, not today!" The potato wants to go out and roll. But the rain cloud says, "No, please stay inside!"
The eggplant wants to go out and run. But the rain cloud says, "No, no fun for you!" Soon they have an idea. "We must go out and have fun today."
So they blow and blow and blow the cloud away. Then they all go out and play a nice day.
