四、阅读短文,回答问题 (答案不超过6个词)
Is your school made of bricks or concrete blocks? Many are. But some classrooms in Guatemala and El Salvador are built in a different way—with bottles full of trash! Hug It Forward builds bottle schools using plastic bottles and trash. Let's see how they do it!
First, kids and other helpers pick up trash. They'll make plastic bags and chip wrappers (包装纸) into eco-bricks. Each classroom takes about 3,500 eco-bricks to build. That's around one ton of trash!
To make eco-bricks, the kids put empty plastic bags and chip wrappers into cleaned plastic bottles. They need about 80 plastic bags or around 100 chip wrappers to fill one bottle all the way to the top.
Helpers from the community build frames (框架) for the classroom walls. They add chicken wire (细铁丝网) to hold the eco-bricks.
The eco-bricks are tied in rows between the layers of chicken wire. Any gap is filled with more plastic bags.
Rows and rows of eco-bricks make up the walls. They are just as strong and last as long as other kinds of walls.
1. How are the classrooms in Guatemala and El Salvador built differently?
2. What do kids and other helpers do first?
3. How many eco-bricks do they need to build one classroom?
4. What do kids put into the cleaned plastic bottles?
5. What do you think of the classrooms built of eco-bricks?
