Zhang Li is one of them. She became interested in
Wheat Straw Painting when she was 16 years old.
In 2015, she set up her own workroom. Now,
Zhang Li realizes that Wheat Straw Painting is what

She collects lots of wheat straw in the
countryside. She dries the straw in the sun and
then cuts it by hand. Colourful straws, like red,
