Nowadays, online learning is very common. Many students choose to study online in their free time. It has both advantages and disadvantages.
Online learning is very convenient. We can study anywhere and anytime. We don’t need to go to a real classroom. We can learn from famous teachers from different cities or even different countries. The classes can be interesting and easy to understand. We can also watch the videos again and again if we don’t understand something. Besides, online lessons are usually cheaper than taking after-school classes.
However, online learning also has some problems. First, looking at screens for a long time is bad for our eyes. Many students become short-sighted because of too much screen time. Second, some students can’t control themselves. They may play games or chat with friends instead of studying. Third, there is no teacher to watch them in class, so some students may not listen carefully.
To make online learning useful, we should make a study plan first. We should keep away from games when we have classes. We should also do eye exercises to protect our eyes. In my opinion, online learning is a good way to study, but we must use it in a right way.
