When I was at school, our teacher told the class, "You are what you eat." In fact, our teacher was trying to show us the importance of eating the right food.
Why should we eat well?
Every cell(细胞) in our body has a "shelf life"—a stomach cell lives for about a day or two, a skin cell about a month, and a red blood cell about four months. So, every day, our body is busy making new cells to renew those that have stopped working. And how healthy those new cells are depends on how well we eat. A complete eating plan can help cells work better so that we can stay healthy.

How can we eat well?
Studies have shown that daily diet has the biggest influence(影响) on our health.
Tip 1: Start eating clean food
To start eating clean food, you can choose food that is less processed(加工) and as direct(直接的) from nature as possible, like cabbage and strawberries. The key is to start little by little. For example, try eating more vegetables than you usually do this week. Eat some nuts as a snack instead of potato chips. Some people like snacks that are rich in sugar. But too much sugar is bad for our health.
Tip 2: Cook as often as you can
Cooking is one of the easiest ways to start eating better! Cooking at home not only helps us to control what to eat, but also lets us choose how to cook the food more healthily.
Tip 3:

People who eat with others are more likely to eat well than those who eat alone. This is because meals with others usually include more food which is good for you. And at the same time, you can build better relationships. Maybe it can be a little hard, but remember, you are what you eat.
So, choose the right food. Healthy food leads to a healthy body.
1. How much sugar is 400 ml of rice milk less than 400 ml of grape juice?

2. If you want to start a clean diet, what kind of food should you choose?

3. According to Chart Ⅱ, what healthy eating habit do most people have?

4. What's the best subtitle(小标题) of Tip 3?

5. What's your understanding of "You are what you eat."? How will you develop better habits?

答案

2. I should choose food that is less processed and as direct from nature as possible. 【解析】根据“To start eating clean food, you can choose food that is less processed and as direct from nature as possible”可知,可以选择加工较少,直接来自大自然的食物。
3. Eating more home-cooked meals. 【
4. Eat with other people/Eat with others 【解析】根据“People who eat with others are more likely to eat well than those who eat alone.”
5. What we eat influences our health greatly. I will stay away from highly processed food.(答案不唯一,言之有理即可)

根据短文Tip1中“To start eating clean food, you can choose food that is less processed and as direct from nature as possible”提取答案;3. Eat with other people/Eat with others;5.
