Snowy owls are snow-white. They live mostly in the Arctic (北极地区). This is a lemming (旅鼠). It is snowy owls' favourite prey. They also hunt rabbits, birds, and fish. Snowy owls have good eyesight and hearing. They help snowy owls hunt for prey. Most owls sleep during the day and hunt at night. But snowy owls are active during the day. I'm a male snowy owl. I'm almost all white. She is a female snowy owl. She has more flecks (斑点).
I'm a polar bear. I live in the Arctic. My favourite prey is the seal. I'm good at swimming. I use my front paws to paddle (划水). It's cold here all year round. Do you know how I keep warm? I have two layers (层) of fur. Under the fur, I have black skin. The skin absorbs (吸收) the sun's rays (光线). Under the skin, I have a thick layer of fat. I can become too hot! To cool down, I roll in the snow.
I'm a male narwhal. I live in the Arctic. Look at my tusk. Do I look like a unicorn? My tusk is long and straight. It has a spiral shape. It is hollow (空心的). The tusk is my left tooth. Some males have two tusks. Their right tooth also grows out. Females sometimes grow tusks. But it is usually smaller than the male's tusk.
The orca is also called the killer whale. It is known as the wolf of the sea. Orcas swim in seas around the world. They live and hunt in family groups. They hunt everything, even other whales. Orcas usually do not chew their food. They can eat small seals and sea lions whole. They eat bigger prey in chunks (大块).
