My name is Wendy. I am a middle school student. I like running very much and I
am in the school running club. There are twenty members in the running club and we
practise on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons after school.
For us, it's important to get comfortable running shoes. My running shoes are
really cool and so are the other members'. I have three pairs of running shoes. One
pair is green and the other two pairs are white. The green pair is from my father and
the white pairs are from my grandparents. My family think it's good for me to run
because it can help me keep fit.
Many of the members want to be running stars in the future. Mr Smith is the
coach of the running club. The great coach teaches us a lot of running skills. He
always encourages us to keep practising. He tells us if we keep practising, we will
succeed. I think he is right.
The members in the club are really friendly and we are all friends. We often
share running skills together so that we can make progress together. I'm really happy
to be in the club.
