It was a cloudy day. Many players were in front of the gate of the stadium(体育场), before he arrived. He walked slowly to the preparation(准备) area. He was excited but worried. Time passed fast. Suddenly,it was the turn of his group(组)! He said to himself, “You have been training(训练) for so many years. You will do well!”
“Ready? Start!” He jumped in the water and swam as fast as he could. There was only one swimmer in around and found out that he was first in his group! He ended up in sixth place in the final match.
