Tom and Tim were two mice. One day they entered a dairy (乳品店). As they were looking for something to eat,they fell into a large jar (瓶子) full of milk. They did not know how to swim. Soon they started drowning (淹没).
Both of them tried their best to stay above the milk. Tom said,"Friend,I think we are going to drown. No one can help us now. I wish someone would come to help us!"
Tim said,"Do not be afraid,my friend. We should keep trying."
But a few minutes later,Tom gave up hope. He did not try,so he drowned. Tim saw his friend drowning in the milk and felt very sorry.
Tim kept moving his legs to try to keep afloat (漂浮的). With great effort,the mouse climbed out to safety. The mouse realized that he can only succeed if he doesn't give up.

Once there lived an old man called Yu Gong. Two high mountains stopped his family from walking to the other side. So Yu Gong decided to move the mountains.
Although Yu Gong was old, he decided to move the mountains with his family. So Yu Gong started digging. At that time, a "clever" man called Zhi Sou laughed at him and told him that it was impossible to move such high mountains. But Yu Gong didn't listen to him and said that his sons and grandsons would continue to move the mountains after he died. Then a god was moved by Yu Gong, so he sent two gods to help him move the mountains.
