I read: The sun heats the water in the ocean, the water becomes vapour and rises, then the vapour forms clouds, later the water falls down as rain or snow, and the water flows back to the ocean.
I see in my mind: Bright sunshine is on the blue sea, tiny water vapour floats up to the sky, gathers into soft white clouds, then the clouds get heavy, rain drops fall onto mountains and rivers, and finally go back to the sea.
Now, I understand: The water on the earth keeps moving in the cycle all the time, it changes its state between liquid, gas and solid during the process, and this is the water cycle.
