The Zhuang Song Festival (San Yue San)
The Zhuang Song Festival is a traditional holiday for the Zhuang people in Guangxi. It falls on the third day of the third month in the lunar calendar(农历), which is why it's called "San Yue San". Because of this, the date is different every year on the solar calendar(公历), but it always feels like springtime!
At the festival, boys and girls sing songs to each other in a special way called antiphonal singing(对歌).
