I'm Li Mei. Among all the four seasons, spring is my favourite one.
The cold winter goes away slowly, and the weather turns warm little by little. It is often sunny with soft wind, and sometimes it rains gently, making the air very fresh. My hometown becomes quite different in spring: trees turn green with new buds coming out, all kinds of flowers blossom everywhere, and the rivers wake up from the cold winter. The whole city is full of lively energy.
People in my hometown have great fun in spring. Most families love to go on a trip to the countryside, fly kites on the grassland, or have a picnic near the lake. Many old people also enjoy taking a walk in the park after breakfast.
For me, spring is the start of a whole new year. It brings me so much hope and happiness. I really love the warm and lovely spring.
