二、阅读理解
人与自我——老年人如何提高记忆力
时文原创 My grandfather has always been a kind and wise man, but as he grows older, he has become more forgetful. Last week, he spent nearly half an hour looking for his glasses—only to find them on his head! Another time, he forgot to add sugar to his coffee, making it taste bitter. These small incidents(事件) show that his memory isn't as sharp as it used to be.
Many old people face similar memory problems. Luckily, there are simple and helpful ways to improve memory.
First, eating healthy food is important. Foods like fish, nuts, and eggs are good for the brain. They help keep it strong and active.
Second, doing light exercise every day can also help. Activities like walking or Tai Chi improve blood flow(流动) to the brain and help people think more clearly.
Third,it's helpful to keep the brain busy.
Reading, doing puzzles(智力游戏),or learning something new—like a simple song or a few words in another language—can make the brain stronger.
Lastly, spending time with family and friends is also useful. Talking and laughing with others not only brings joy but also helps exercise the brain.
I often remind my grandfather to use these methods, and little by little, they are helping. Let's care for and help the elderly around us—they should live a happier and healthier life!
