〔五育并举·美育〕My name is Lucy. Art is my favourite hobby. I still remember when I was young, I would always paint on books, pieces of paper and walls. I was always in trouble for painting on the walls, but I couldn’t stop myself.
But now in school, there are only four art lessons each week. It seems that the 40 minutes for each lesson passes by in a flash(转瞬间) because I get lost in my artworks. I wish we could have more time for art.
I especially enjoy drawing cartoons. This is the area where my creativity is always free. Letting my creativity run wild, I sometimes draw things that surprise even myself. I have cartoons of all the teachers I know. Some of them are pretty, but some are not. I won’t show the bad ones to the teachers because they will be sad. They are only for my classmates and me to see.
So, I must say that I always feel good when I am drawing something. For me, drawing is a natural way to express myself. It allows me to follow my instincts(直觉) and lets my feelings guide my hand. And the result is always a happy one. It brings me a sense of achievement. I hope to keep drawing and sharing my art with others.
