Kids in New York City love to find little plastic ducks in "duck libraries".
An unknown person started this fun activity. Then a dog walker named JJ Cerillo kept it going, and she is called the "keeper of the ducks".
At first, Cerillo saw the person put a duck on a railing (栏杆). She asked if she could join, and the person said yes. Later, the stranger set up the first duck library.
When Cerillo saw many kids run to the library for ducks, she felt very happy.
Now, Cerillo has an Instagram page for this activity. She also set up more duck libraries in different places. There is only one rule: if you take a duck, please leave one or more.
This activity ran into some trouble recently. Someone stole one of the libraries. But except for this, Cerillo hopes people will set up more of these libraries in their neighbourhoods. And this is already happening.
"A woman in Edinburgh, Scotland, wanted to do this. So I told her what to do and how to do it. Now she has one," Cerillo said.

An unknown person started this fun activity. Then a dog walker named JJ Cerillo kept it going...
When Cerillo saw many kids run to the library for ducks, she felt very happy.
There is only one rule: if you take a duck, please leave one or more.
Now, Cerillo has an Instagram page for this activity. She also set up more duck libraries in different places.
When Cerillo saw many kids run to the library for ducks, she felt very happy.
see sb do sth run to the library for ducks意为“跑去图书馆找小鸭子”,补充说明宾语 many kids 发出的动作。

1. 代词指代题:定位到第二段“An unknown person started this fun activity. Then a dog walker named JJ Cerillo kept it going...”,前文明确提到“this fun activity”,因此it指代这个有趣的塑料鸭子活动,选C。
2. 细节理解题:根据题干关键词“many kids run to the library for ducks”定位到第三段最后一句“When Cerillo saw many kids run to the library for ducks, she felt very happy.”,可知她的感受是开心,选A。
3. 细节理解题:A选项“有人偷了一些图书馆”与原文“Someone stole one of the libraries”不符;B选项“Cerillo设立了第一个小鸭子图书馆”与原文“the stranger set up the first duck library”不符;C选项“她从活动中赚了很多钱”文中未提及;D选项“这个活动只有一条规则”与原文“There is only one rule: if you take a duck, please leave one or more.”
4. 细节理解题:根据题干关键词“keep the duck activity going”定位到第四段“Now, Cerillo has an Instagram page for this activity. She also set up more duck libraries in different places.”,对应②和③;①“自己制作大量塑料鸭子”和④“号召很多孩子参加”在文中均无依据,选C。
