Natural Disasters
Natural disasters are terrible and they often bring great harm to people's lives. Two common ones are floods and earthquakes.
Floods usually come in rainy seasons. They can wash away houses, crops and roads, making people lose their homes and food sources. Earthquakes are sudden and destructive. They may cause buildings to fall down, and many people could get hurt or even lose their lives.
When a flood hits, we should move to higher places quickly and stay away from deep water. If an earthquake happens, we must hide under strong desks or tables right away. Don't rush out of buildings when the ground is shaking violently. After the quake, we need to leave the dangerous area safely.
We should learn more about natural disasters and master self-protection skills. This can help us reduce the damage they bring.
