Throughout history, many people have dreamed of living forever(长生不老), but different people have different opinions about whether it is something good or bad. 1
Firstly, technology develops at an amazing speed. 2 Without the limitation of time, great men such as Darwin, Einstein and Qian Xuesen might have had the chance to sit together and share their great ideas. If something like this could happen, we would see many more amazing inventions which would greatly change our lives.
3 Many valuable objects from ancient times have been lost over history. But things would be completely different if people could live forever.
Lastly, even common people would be able to realize their dreams. However, some people fail to achieve their goals during their lifetime. 4 If people could live forever, they would feel more perfect.
As we all know, natural resources are limited. If people could live forever, the earth would be too crowded. 5 So, let’s always hope for the best.
In a word, I believe that our lives would be better if we could live forever.
