I have read 15 English books in my free time. I think reading is important in our life.
When I read for pleasure, I can learn English easily. I also find examples of good writing in English. I can learn new words and learn more about the English culture. Now I feel more interested in English and my English has improved a lot.
I think everyone should read more good books. We can get knowledge from reading. Besides, reading makes us smarter. The more we read, the more happiness we will find.

Many people say, “Don’t rest on your achievements (成绩).” It suggests that you shouldn’t be so satisfied with your achievements and no longer try to improve.
As to this saying, Mike Perham has set a good example to us. Mike Perham was born in 1992 in England. He started sailing at the age of 7. When he was 14 years old, he sailed across the Atlantic Ocean, and he became the youngest person to sail across the Atlantic Ocean. You might think the achievements are good enough, but Mike doesn’t think so. At the age of 17, he became the youngest person to sail all by himself around the world on a nine - month voyage (航行).
For his next dream, he plans to fly around the world on his own, making himself the first person of all ages to both sail and fly around the world.
Mike wants his achievements to encourage young people to realize their dreams. Since his adventures, he has travelled widely, and he gives speeches at schools and youth clubs in London, Hong Kong and Sydney on the theme of “Live the Dream”.
