Last Friday, our school held a talk on manners.
I have learnt a lot from this talk. In public, we should keep quiet and keep the ground clean. And we shouldn't drop litter everywhere. It's important to queue for our turn. We should obey traffic rules and never run the red light. On the bus, we should give our seats to someone in need. We shouldn't make much noise while eating. It's impolite to talk with the mouth full of food.
I think it's a very meaningful talk. If we always do the right things, we will be a person with good manners.

Last Saturday evening, all my family members were enjoying dinner in a restaurant when a group of young people came into it. While they were eating their food, they talked loudly and smoked. I tried to stop them doing so, but they refused to listen to me. Instead, they said it was none of my business and laughed at me.
In fact, what they did upset me deeply, but I was proud of what I did. In my opinion, we should keep quiet in public. Also, we should be polite to others. Only in this way can we be trained to be people with good manners.
