I still remember the day when our city was hit by a heavy rainstorm last summer. It happened on July 12th in my hometown.
At that time, I was doing my homework at home. Suddenly, the sky turned grey and the wind blew fiercely. Then, the heavy rain came. It rained so heavily that the water soon rose up and covered the streets. What was worse, the rain knocked down some trees and even caused power cuts.
My parents and I were very worried. We called our neighbors and tried to find ways to deal with the trouble. Luckily, the government sent the rescuers soon. They helped us get through the difficult time.
