C Rosie is talking to her friend Lila about her trip to Terre Ugo. There are seven mistakes in their conversation. Underline the mistakes and correct them.
Rosie: Hi Lila. I had a wonderful holiday. My favourite part was visiting Terre Ugo.
Lila: Terre Ugo? I don't know something about that.
Rosie: Terre Ugo is a farm in France. It has beautiful lavender fields. My parents and I spent all morning walking through the fields. I loved it.
Lila: Wow! How a fun experience!
Rosie: It was. I love being around flowers. A whole field of purple flowers is always amazing to see! There's really anything special about it. Do you like flowers?
Lila: Of course! I always feel happy when I'm around flowers. Tell me more about Terre Ugo. Were there many visitors there?
Rosie: Not at first. In fact, when we arrived, there was anybody in the fields but us. We felt very calm and relaxed. But later in the day, we met quite a few other people.
Lila: How interesting!
Rosie: There's also a lovely little shop next to the fields. We bought many things made of lavender. Does nobody in your family like lavender? We have some to share!
Lila: What nice you are! I think everything in my family loves lavender.

解析

本题考查不定代词用法、感叹句结构和一般过去时的运用:
1. 否定句中表“一些”要用anything,不用something,故将something改为anything;
2. 感叹句中修饰名词短语“a fun experience”要用What,How修饰形容词/副词,故将How改为What;
3. 肯定句中表“一些事物”要用something,anything多用于否定/疑问句,故将anything改为something;
4. 根据语境“除了我们没人在田里”,表“没有人”要用nobody,anybody表“任何人”不符合语境,故将anybody改为nobody;
5. 对话描述过去的旅行,要用一般过去时,故将There's改为There was;
6. 疑问句中询问“是否有人”要用anybody,nobody表否定不符合语境,故将nobody改为anybody;

Lake Baikal is a very special lake. It is the oldest and deepest
lake in the world. Scientists believe the lake is about 25
million years old, and its deepest point is more than 1,600
metres!
The lake is also huge. It is over 600 kilometres long and
about 48 kilometres wide. It is not the largest lake in the
world by area, but it does have the most fresh water. In
fact, Lake Baikal has about 20% of the world's fresh water.
Because of its old age and great depth, Lake Baikal is home
to many special plants and animals. Thousands of kinds of
plants and animals live in Lake Baikal, and most of them
don't live anywhere else in the world. The lake even has its
own seal: the Baikal seal! This seal is the only freshwater
seal on the planet. With so much interesting wildlife, Lake
Baikal is an important place for scientific study.
In summer, the lake's water is famously clear. You can see

B Write an article about Chaka Salt Lake in Qinghai, China. You can talk about the landscape and what makes the lake special.

答案

Chaka Salt Lake in Qinghai, China is a truly magical lake. It is known as the "Mirror of the Sky" and is one of the most fascinating salt lakes in China. Scientists believe the lake formed about 100,000 years ago, and it covers an area of around 105 square kilometres.
The lake's landscape is breathtaking. In summer, when the weather is clear, the lake's surface is so smooth that it perfectly reflects the blue sky and white clouds. Tourists say it feels like walking on the sky itself. In winter, a thick layer of white salt covers the lake, turning it into a vast silver world.
It is not the largest salt lake in China, but it does have extremely pure and high-quality salt. In fact, local people have been using the salt from this lake for thousands of years, and it is famous for its excellent quality both at home and abroad.
Chaka Salt Lake is home to some special salt-loving plants and small animals. Most of these creatures don't live anywhere else in such a salty environment. With its amazing natural beauty and valuable salt resources, Chaka Salt Lake is an important place for tourism and scientific research.
For these reasons, Chaka Salt Lake is definitely one of the most special and wonderful lakes in the world.
