Some new electric vehicles can travel almost three times as far as older ones did. Another problem is finding a place to recharge the batteries. But the number of charging stations is going up as well. China now has more than 2 million charging stations. In Sweden, engineers have even designed a road that will charge electric vehicles as they drive along.
