Today Peter's sister reads a story about a girl and a dog in a newspaper.
Tina is a little girl. She has no sister or brother. Her father and mother are police officers. They're very busy. Tina wants to have a pet dog.
One day, Tina is walking in a park, and a lovely dog runs to her. Tina plays with her happily. Then Tina goes to buy some food. She sees a notice on the window of a shop. It says “MISSING DOG” and there is a photo. It's just the dog beside her. Tina finds the address(地址) on it. Tina thinks, “They must be very worried, and it's not far, so I'll take the dog back home.”
They walk along the street, and turn left at the second crossing. Then they go straight and turn right. Tina sees the house on the left. Tina knocks at the door and a girl answers it. The dog and the girl are excited to see each other again! But Tina feels sad. “Don't be sad. Would you like to have one of her puppies?” says the girl. “Yes, please!” Tina says. She's happy again!
