Last Friday, an English textbook drama show was held at Hope Middle School, our sister school. Members of the English clubs from both schools participated in this activity.
The show started at 2 p.m. Each club presented two plays adapted from English textbooks. Our school performed "The Necklace" and "The Emperor's New Clothes", while Hope Middle School put on "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Cinderella". The actors wore beautiful costumes and spoke English fluently. Their wonderful performances won warm applause from the audience. After the show, students from both schools exchanged gifts and took photos together.
This activity not only improved students' English speaking skills and acting abilities but also strengthened the friendship between the two schools. It was a great success and will be remembered by everyone.
