The Selfish Giant(自私的巨人)
Every afternoon, children play in the Giant's beautiful garden. When the Giant returns, he angrily chases(追逐) them away and builds a high wall.
After that, spring never comes to his garden. It stays cold and lonely. One morning, the Giant hears birds singing. He sees children playing through a hole in the wall, and flowers bloom where they stand.
Knowing his selfishness(自私), the Giant knocks down the wall. "It's your gar-den now," he says. The children return, and spring finally arrives.
