Chinese New Year

Hi, my name is Lili. I like Chinese New Year best because it is a traditional Chinese festival. We have to do a lot of things for this festival.
Before Chinese New Year, we often clean our house. My brother and I sweep the floor on Chinese New Year's Eve. Then, it is time for Chinese New Year fair(集市). We can see and buy many lovely things. Grandma and I prepare some fruit and snacks. Another important thing is that we have our hair cut. It means people start the year all fresh(新鲜的) and new. Next, my father and I often buy some flowers for Chinese New Year.
On New Year's Eve, we often have a big dinner with our family. We can enjoy different yummy food. I like spring rolls best.
On New Year's Day, our grandparents and parents give us red packets. I often wear a Tang costume(唐装) on Chinese New Year's Day because it's one of the traditional clothes in China. At last, we visit relatives and watch the lion dance.
I love Chinese New Year. It is also called the Spring Festival. It is a festival for family reunion.
