A Day of John's
John is a Canadian. He lives in a tall building① in the
city of Toronto. There are eighteen floors in the building,
and he lives on the fifteenth floor. He uses an elevator② to go
up and down. John goes to work early and works very hard.
He usually takes the No. 11 bus to work, but sometimes he
goes by subway③. John works in a factory④ about ten kilometers away from his
home. He starts working at 8:30 a. m. , and finishes at 4:45 p. m. He gets back
home at 5:15 p. m. He gets into the elevator, and goes up to the twelfth floor.
Then he climbs up to the fifteenth floor on foot for exercise.
